Tennis

Timber Pines maintains six beautiful Har-Tru and two hard surfaced courts. All courts are lit for night play. The Har-Tru courts are located at the Country Club and the hard courts are located at the Lodge.

Members may reserve a time on court free of charge by signing into the Jonas Court Booking Reservation System. Courts can be reserved up to one week in advance. A variety of leagues are available throughout the week primarily focused on doubles and mixed doubles players for A, B and C levels of play. Periodically, clinics are available for beginner and intermediate players.

The Timber Pines Tennis Club is an optional activity! The Tennis Club organizes tournaments for its members with various levels of play. Other club sponsored activities include team tennis and a number of fun social functions. The club does a variety of fund raisers providing thousands of dollars a year to local charities.

Pickleball

Timber Pines boasts 12 premier pickleball courts located at the Pickleball and Recreation Center. Awarded "Pickleball Facility of the Year" by the American Sports Buildings Association, these first-class courts are available day and night for Timber Pines community play.

The fast-growing sport of pickleball offers all residents a less demanding option to tennis. Many members play both sports. Pickleball has developed a passionate following in the U.S. and Canada because of its friendly, social nature, and multi-generational appeal.

The Timber Pines Pickleball Club (TPPC) with more than 900 members is available to all residents and renters of Timber Pines who want to join. The Club offers free instructions for all levels. Each month daily events, from fun open play, tournaments-both for fun or skill level, as well as both a Ladies Day and Men’s Day, provide the Club members many opportunities to experience the competitive aspect of the game.

Enjoy a game of ping pong or join the Table Tennis Club! Great exercise with a great group of members located in our newest facility…the Game Room in the Wellness Center!
