The fast growing sport of pickleball offers active seniors a less demanding option to tennis. Many residents play both sports. Pickleball is a highly social fun activity where men and women of a wide age range compete on an equal basis, with free instructions and equipment. Seniors enjoy the social aspects and the ability to stay active. Tennis, racquetball and ping pong players love the competitive nature of the sport and regularly participate in tournaments.
The Timber Pines Pickleball Club is an optional activity that charges a ten dollar per member annual fee. The Pickleball Club offers monthly activities including skill level and fun level tournaments. The club offers free instructions for beginners and has both a Ladies day and Men’s day play to experience the competitive aspect of the game.
Fall / Winter hours are 1:00pm - 5:00pm daily at the Lodge courts.  You may sign up in the library for use of courts at any other time.  Check out our website at www.tppickleballclub.org for club news, information on instructions and to find out more about pickleball in general.
